Toon intended to replace Carroll

Newcastle boss Alan Pardew is moving forward with its quest for a new striker, but he is looking for a very special player.

Gazza targets feel short at the moment and wants to address the issue as soon as possible.

Sales of Andy Carroll in Liverpool in January saw the club reduce their most powerful weapon attack, and they have yet to find a suitable replacement.

They do however, have money in the bank as a result of this agreement and intend to put these funds to good use during the summer transfer window.

Pardew has hinted that he is looking for a direct replacement for Carroll, with which it is important that all potential targets that meet certain criteria.

Intention to explore all possibilities before making a decision, in which the Magpies have decided to take the right man on board.

Pardew told the Evening Chronicle: "We are still looking hard for a striker and we have our eyes on every striker who is currently unavailable, but they must be the right person for this club ..

"There is a certain kind, they must adapt. And we must strive to enter that category. "
