Sneijder has urged Manchester United to join

Holland boss Bert van Marwijk believes Wesley Sneijder would benefit from the move from Manchester United.

Inter Milan playmaker still strongly linked to the move to Old Trafford, despite Sir Alex Ferguson earlier this week that he "has no real interest in" signing the Dutchman.

Sneijder seeks to replace Paul Scholes was withdrawn midfield Kingdom after finding himself one with the creative talent of football.

He also spent time with Real Madrid and helped to come to Holland in 2010 World Cup final, but Van Marwijk is still room for improvement.

He knows the United Club is the ideal of 27 years, at this stage of his career and has advised him to take up the challenge.

"His training methods, and how people working in this club with the players is excellent. Therefore, it will be a new challenge for Wesley. That inspired him and gives new energy."

Van Marwijk feel United could adopt a similar approach to their football as the Netherlands and that it would be good for the national team if they make the transition to the Premier League.

He explained: "Great style is much closer to the style of how the Dutch play Inter.

"When you play Wesley Holland, we make sure they get the ball up as soon as possible. Much faster to try it.

"This means that it can have a kick at goal much faster and can make a decisive pass. In Italy, he played in a more appropriate role, and he faces six defenders of all time.

"The control we let him take the offensive with the Dutch team, I can also do with United. I think it will really get into the midfield well at Old Trafford. "

Sneijder's father, Barry, but said: "We are aware of the interests of the Kingdom, but we do very well at Inter Milan.
