Ronaldo: I Joined Manchester City

Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to consider a move to Manchester City, but will not leave Real Madrid, while Jose Mourinho was in charge.

Portugal, the wharf was the subject of reported interest in free-spending cities earlier this summer, a record transfer fees and payroll bumper discussed.

Ronaldo responded to rumors suggesting that it might be tempted to return to England, if the price was right.

He tried to minimize any chance of that happening this year by insisting he will not leave the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, while his compatriot Mourinho is monitoring events in the Spanish capital.

Ronaldo said the Sunday Mirror: "It 'flattering to be offered 20 million euros a year - is very good, but I talked to an agent, and I think it's better to stay in Madrid, because this year we are going to be the best of this season we are going to be a great force ..

"Jose Mourinho is to stay in Madrid so I went.

"If he went to Chelsea, then I would leave. I would have gone to Manchester City. But now you stay, I stay."

While his immediate future remains in Madrid, Ronaldo has revealed he intends to take a second of the Premier League.

Having had a successful six-year stay with Manchester United between 2003 and 2009, admits he would welcome the opportunity to return at some point in his career.

"I think if I went to Spain, which would be in the Premier League - but not now," he said.

"First we win the Champions League.

"If I went back to the Premier League club would be Northwest. I do not like London."
