Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola claims Arsenal have agreed to negotiate the sale of Cesc Fabregas in the European champions.Boat was rejected by the pursuit of Fabregas Arsenal 12 months, but the Gunners are hoping to get some of their influential skipper this summer.
Speaking at a press conference, Pep Guardiola said: "We were interested last year, but Arsenal did not give this year's market, you` ve agreed to negotiate and reach an agreement .. "
Guardiola added: "You all know the interest in the club` s Cesc money is reserved for the player until the last day, we will try to bring Cesc because it makes the team better, I hope something can be sorted ... To August 31, there is time, but sometimes things don `t always work."
Guardiola has also spoken out against the possibility of Fabregas, who missed Arsenal `s Asian tour to cure a troublesome thigh, forcing his departure from Arsenal, he said." I think Cesc has to wonder what Arsenal I do not like my players who say `I` m training because they want to go '. "
Barca sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta add about 'interest in Fabregas' Arsenal's Champions League attitude is one of the greatest respect, just because the players of the club. Even towards the player (you).
"From there, our position is to try to make eye contact (one side), the creation of proposals that may be of interest, while maintaining the utmost respect. We don` t have a style of things by force. "
However, while midfielder Cesc still at the top of Barca `s wish list, Guardiola believes that strengthening the attack is currently the most pressing problem.
Guardiola, whose club are set to sell Bojan Krkic for the Roma, said: "The key is a pirate."
To this end, the club seemed to be closing in on Udinese's Alexis Sanchez services before.
Zubizarreta said: "We` re in the last part, we worked patiently `, what role he played was also important, sometimes things are late, but we want Alexis here soon."
Meanwhile Arsenal managing director Ivan Gazidis insists Arsene Wenger still has plenty of available funds if it wants to use.
The Gunners are expected to bring some of the more defensive cover, with German international defender Per Mertesacker and Gary Cahill Bolton England reported goals, while midfielder Juan Mata of Valencia and the Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic Lyon are possible additions should leave Fabregas.
Okay, but what promises have fallen by the wayside is Costa Rica before promising Joel Campbell.
19-year-old was ready to move to Deportivo Saprissa 900 000 GBP.
But it now appears talks broke off. The player's father Humberto Campbell said: "We have already decided not to sign anything yet, we expect less than 20 years to finish the World Cup, when Joel can go play with confidence and without pressure, so we'll see what going on. "
Saprissa President Juan Carlos Rojas told the newspaper La Nacion: "It is a disappointment for football, for Saprissa and I decided not to take an offer seriously and that people in first class as Arsenal Hope it works for j . Joel.
"I suppose your father thinks that things will improve and therefore made the decision, but hey, there's always a risk.
"It's a shame that Costa Rica football could not have a player at Arsenal right now."
