"Mata is sought elsewhere than in Spain"

Juan Mata Valencia end is sought by clubs outside of Spain, his father and his agent has confirmed.

Mata is meant to attract strong interest from Arsenal, while Liverpool also believed to be interested in the Spanish international.

The talented winger, who helped his country to the glory of the Under-21 Championship this summer after being part of the senior team who decided the glory of the World Cup in South Africa, is under contract until 2015.

However, it was diverted away from a Mestalla this summer with Real Madrid and Barcelona, both considered the control of the situation.

Mata admitted he did not want to leave Los Che, who will play the UEFA Champions League football next season, but has now been revealed that the intermediate approaches were made.

Mata's father, Juan older, admitted that Valencia will now be decided in part, a talented young man, who is currently a break with its international commitments.

He is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror: "There have been calls from foreign clubs - but now the final decision in Valencia and is on vacation."
