Juve Lawsuit Rejected , Inter still owned Scudetto 2006

Roma - Juventus take legal action to get back the Scudetto in 2006. However, the court rejected an appeal by Juve and Inter state title still belongs.

As is known, the title achieved in 2006 was stripped from Juventus after they were convicted involved in the Calciopoli scandal. Degraded Juventus to Serie B and the title was also given into the hands of Inter.

In May 2010, Juve's Scudetto ask again. This is done after the court Calciopoli 2 in Naples shows that Inter and some clubs have a hand in the first case. However, Inter's involvement was evident in the first case.

Juve feel that the evidence obtained in Naples was enough to ask their scudetto in 2006 restored.

However, on Friday (07/01/2011) local time, the Italian court rejected these demands. Scudetto 2006 also remain the property of Inter.

FIGC said that they will not process the case because the deadline has passed (Statute of limitations). However, in his official statement, Juventus has denied this.

"Some say that the allegations were incorrect, while others underline the Statute of limitations as a reason why the lawsuit was not processed," the statement as reported by the Italian Football Juventus.

"The lawyers Juventus made an urgent request to read the motivation behind the reaction to this appeal, filed on May 10, 2010."

"Only after the document was released before the FIGC and the public can decide whether the ethical motivation behind the provision of Inter's Scudetto in 2006 to face the test of time and circumstances, which oddly appeared many years later."

"There is no Statute of limitations for collection of trophies affairs."
