Gomes Looks To South Africa

None of the Spurs winning team was part of Brazil in the Confederations Cup in 2009 and returned to the Samba stars of the World Cup last summer.
Gomes colleagues traveling with the club for the Vodacom Challenge later this month against the newly crowned champion of South Africa Kaizer Chiefs and Pirates in Orlando.
"First of all, people are so friendly and loves football," said Gomes. "They love to be a stage, and as we all know what the World Cup, the atmosphere is special, a lot of different other countries.
"It's great fun to play football in stages are fantastic and South Africa did very well for the World Cup. The feeling for the game is incredible.
"I think it's an ideal preparation for us and we must be ready for the start of the season. We know it will be harder than ever, because everyone knows Tottenham and now we can do."
