From The City To Push For Deals Nasri, Clichy

Manchester City are willing to wash his Arsenal duo Samir Nasri and Gael Clichy, and expect to complete two offers this week.

The city is quiet unusual transfer window so far, but our eyes are taken after seeing the bitter rivals Manchester United to spend more than £ 50 million of Ashley Young, Phil Jones and David de Gea.

Clichy has been closely linked to the city in the last week and almost certain to complete a £ 7 million this week some time.

However, their pursuit of midfielder Nasri seems likely to face intense competition, with United and Chelsea both smell.

Nasri has been little to commit his future, the Gunners, claiming that it is silver rather than money, which will decide his next move.

"I came to trophies in England, because I have not won anything in my career, except for U-17 Championship 2004" Nasri said, according to the Guardian.

"We have already earn huge salaries. The priority is to make a great career and win titles.

"This is more important than anything else."

Captain Cesc Fabregas is also likely to want to leave Barcelona this summer, manager Arsene Wenger is likely to need reinforcements at the Emirates Stadium, with Marseille midfielder Mathieu Valbuena earmarked for the possible arrival.

However, the agent of the French international, Christophe Hutteau, played down talk that his client could leave the Stade Velodrome soon.

"I really do not want to comment on this matter.

"All I can say for now is Mathieu Valbuena still under contract with Marseille.

"He goes on to team training tomorrow [Monday]."

Wenger has long been appreciated in the world of French football, and should decide to leave Valbuena Marseille, is likely to relish the opportunity to connect with the legendary filmmaker.
