Ferguson: Nasri will join the United States

Sir Alex Ferguson, said Samir Nasri has agreed to leave Arsenal - but not to join Manchester United.

United manager made comments shortly after arriving in Boston in the first leg of his five-game American tour clubs.

With Paul Scholes now retired, Ferguson is looking for a replacement.

Wesley Sneijder and Luka Modric were associated with a move to Old Trafford, but has Nasri, with United, said he had an offer for the midfielder to 20 million pounds sterling France refused.

"I do not think this is America," said Ferguson.

"That's all I can say. I think he agreed to go elsewhere."

Nasri went on tour in Malaysia and Arsene Wenger has said he can not keep the player last year of his contract, and then risk losing him for any period of 12 months.

"It's their decision," said Ferguson. "It's the director.

"If he gets up from this decision is courageous. I do not know if they (Arsenal), the leaders who will benefit from one, but it is possible.

"Maybe you have to stay."

But if he is not going to get Nasri, Ferguson refuses to give up the idea to call someone, even a replacement like-for-like for Scholes is beyond his imagination.

"It 'impossible to find another Paul Scholes," he said.

"But if we can get the reader along the lines of quality and vision of his death, we must do something.

"The problem is that if you have chosen the four best midfielders in the world would be Scholes, with Xavi and Andres Iniesta. So you can choose from elsewhere.

"It's a loss. How can we fix this? The coming weeks will help us in this regard. Someone could result from the young team and we will continue. "

If Nasri is to leave Arsenal and finish at Old Trafford, Manchester City would be an obvious target.

And if you find someone Ferguson, Sneijder is now the most probable, as Modric has already expressed its preference for Chelsea if they can be designed to move from Tottenham.

States that are willing to pay the Dutch World Cup star, a weekly wage of nearly £ 250 000 is another question.

Ferguson knows that builds for the future, however, even if it rejects the United States is emerging into a new era in spite of retirement, Scholes, Gary Neville and Edwin van der Sar comes out and long-term duo Wes Brown and John O ' Shea and the arrival of Phil Jones, Ashley Young and David de Gea.

"Not next season," said Ferguson, "a new" big requirement.

"We try to look ahead. We strive to ensure that there is an influx of young players coming to replace older players who die on your feet.

"Over the past three years, we were very conscious of the need to replace Ryan Giggs. Fortunately, it refers to the application and how it does.

"However, Gary Neville on the left, Paul Scholes and Edwin van der Sar to retire. We were very aware that he would be replaced at some point.

"Working for a couple of the last three years has been the case. To try to ensure that the quality of the team continued success."
