Eto'o pledges future to Inter Milan

Samuel Eto'o has confirmed he will stay at Inter Milan this season after being linked with a move to Manchester City.

The Cameroon striker Eto'o had been considered as the target of Premier League club as part of a swap agreement, the City captain Carlos Tevez wants out.

City boss Roberto Mancini, has recently admitted that Inter had blocked the proposal because it will not sell Eto'o 30 years, is pleased that attitude.

Eto'o has confirmed that he had spoken to the president, Massimo Moratti, and feel free to ignore the voices that could have left the Giuseppe Meazza.

"Law of the newspaper I leave?" Eto'o told Inter Channel.

"I spoke with President Massimo Moratti after the Coppa Italia final victory against Palermo, and when the president speaks, I can only say yes."

The former Barcelona forward again pre-season training under new coach Gian Piero Gasperi and feels optimistic about the future before the campaign.

And he added: "'It went quite well' was pretty hot, but never as bad as in Milan at this moment I am in good shape and have the right atmosphere begins a difficult season ...

"We are all eager to repay the enthusiasm of the fans by winning on the track."
