City left frustrated by Tevez affair

Manchester City insist they have done everything that would destroy Carlos Tevez has proposed £ 40 million to go to the Corinthians.City thought they had reached an agreement with the Brazilian keeping Tevez for his hope of returning to South America.
However, Corinthians, and then issued a statement saying there had been no transaction and the city had made changes to the original offer.
This has been a surprise to the city, they have long feared unforeseen problems.
In private, he insists that no changes to the proposals of the Corinthians, which could affect the transfer and his only concern surrounded the exact structure of the payment.
Blues are convinced the public offer is accepted, where the share is less than hoped, and now you can do more than wait Corinthians to clarify his position.
"With regard to the news published in the early hours of today quoting an agreement between the Corinthians striker Carlos Tevez and, should they (club) president Andres Sanchez would like to clarify to the public that no Manchester City is not accepted the offers of Corinth to the player, "read the statement.
"The truth is that the Corinthians sent a proposal to the contras in the early hours, because the time difference was observed by management Alvinegra this morning.
"In a counter-proposal, English clubs have asked for changes in the payment and the value of the transfer.
"In addition, Manchester City has also insisted that Tevez would have to give an amount on hold with the English club.
"Finally, President Andrés Sanchez said that currently there is nothing concrete to Tevez and against-proposals will be analyzed by him and his leadership."
It is not known whether the move to the city stopped in order to come to counter-offer, but given the possibility of a new beginning, it would be strange if Tevez does not accept it right away.
The 27-year-old has made no secret of his desire to leave Manchester and move somewhere near his wife and two young daughters Vanesa.
He leaves a huge hole to give, he finished last season as captain, and a joint winner of the Golden Boot, to justify its position in the highest paid player in the Premier League.
However, recently retired midfielder Patrick Vieira is convinced the club can move quickly.
Vieira said: "It's never easy to lose players like Carlos Tevez.
"Over the past two years has been a fantastic football club, paint.
"The company has grown so fast, and Carlos had a huge impact on it, like all players.
"But football is not the first time a great team has lost a great player.
"Life goes on. If Carlos did not leave, we can only wish him luck and say thanks for all he has done in football."
