Atletico grab Adrian Lopez

Atletico Madrid have completed the signing of Spain Under-21 striker Adrian Lopez.

The 23-year-old was the top scorer at the recent Under-21 European Championships with five goals in Spain won the tournament, played for Deportivo La Coruna last season and also had spells relegated Alaves and Malaga .


Atletico said on their website: "Adrian Lopez passed his medical with Atletico Madrid and signed his contract with the Rojiblancos.

"This afternoon, the player has the Vicente Calderon 1700 (local time)."
