Villas-Boas New Chelsea Manager

London - Chelsea now has a new manager. As discussed previously crowded, Andre Villas-Boas was officially appointed the Blues as their new architect.

Villas-Boas tied with a three-year contract that will expire in 2014.

"Chelsea is happy to announce that Andre Villas-Boas will be the new manager of the club," read the statement on his official website.

"He has signed a contract for three years and will soon work as soon as possible."

Villas-Boas announcement as the new captain of Chelsea was like a matter of time. After paying the clause of 15 million euros to break his contract with Porto, "The Blue" and then held a discussion related to an agreement with 33-year-old coach.

Though still young, Chelsea put high trust to Villas-Boas. Porto coach in his first season, she immediately tasted success by winning the treble; Portuguese league, Portuguese Cup and Europa League.
