Redknapp Never Sell Crouch

London - Peter Crouch reportedly targeted by Sunderland to become their new striker. However, rejection has been directly brought up by Harry Redknapp.

Sunderland manager, Steve Bruce, was already interested to bring in Crouch in 2009 ago, when the attacker plays 201 cm was still playing in Portsmouth. However, Crouch finally anchored to Tottenham Hotspur.

Now, with funds from the sale of Jordan Henderson to Liverpool, Bruce plans to re-bid for Crouch.

But Redknapp immediately fortify the players that. Despite his appearance on the 2010/2011 season was not too impressive, effort is still needed by Crouch Redknapp - even though he called the Spurs still need a new striker.

"I doubt (he will be sold). Crouchy is a good player. I love it," Redknapp said on ESPN Star.

"He is a great person and I liked it as a friend."

"He's not one I had in mind for sale. We do need a new striker, but he was not one that we want to sell, if we can prevent it," said Redknapp.

Crouch appeared 29 times in the Premier League this season, but only able to contribute four goals. Overall, he is only incised 11 goals in all competitions in 2010/2011.
