Modric admits Want to Leave Spurs

London - Luka Modric finally spoke up speculation surrounding his future. He admits to move from Tottenham Hotspur. Where are you going?

Modric is currently so hunted a number of Premier League clubs, with Chelsea to be one of them. 'The Blue' even reported to have bid for 22 million pounds, although the Spurs responded with a refusal.

Spurs manager Harry Redknapp has so far also appear reluctant to lose one of the flagship midfielder. But Modric who finally spoke up already showing signs of wanting to go.

"I want to leave Tottenham as a friend. I'm enjoying my time here, but now a good time to look for another club," he told the Daily Mail quoted by Sporting Life.

"I have an agreement with the chairman. When I sign a new contract, he said, if there are other clubs who came to buy me, they will consider his offer," said Modric.

Apart from Chelsea, Modric is also linked with two clubs from the city of Manchester, Manchester United and Manchester City. However, he seems to have stayed at home in London so reluctant to depart from the city. Chelsea became the most fitting choice.

"Chelsea are a big club with an ambitious owners. They have great players and they have the ambition to pursue and win the Champions League."

"I want to stay in London. I'm very happy here and so is my family. I love this city," concluded Modric.
