Inter Get Immediate Successor of Maicon ?

Paulo - Inter Milan was widely rumored to be soon brought Jonathan. But Santos, the club players who are staying as Douglas Maicon's successor, even claimed to have contacted Inter.

Italian media crowded in recent days reported that Jonathan will be officially anchored at Inter. Brazilian right-back was reportedly transferred at a price of 5.5 million euros.

The player's full name is Jonathan Cicero Moreira was also well aware of the rumors even though he will only leave it up to his agent.

"Many people said I was the successor Maicon, because I look like in terms of strength and speed. We do not really know each other, because we come from different generations."

"I do not sign anything and do not want no problems with Santos, so I gave up everything in the hands of my agent," said 23-year-old player told Gazzetta dello Sport quoted the Italian Football.

Even so, Santos sides instead issued a statement indicating if the deal is still far from realized. President Santos Luis Ribeiro Albaro admitted is not yet communicate with Inter.

"We have not been in touch with Inter. On Wednesday we won the Copa Libertadores, we celebrated on Thursday, Friday we were still on the go, so we do not focus on the transfer market."

"I know the players already talking about an offer from Inter and was very happy with it, but so far I have not contacted the Nerazzurri," said Ribeiro.
