Gio Key to Success: Discipline and Desire

Jakarta - Giovanni van Bronckhorst had tasted the highest level of football both at club or with the Dutch national team. Gio unlock the key to success, ie, discipline and desire.As a player, Van Bronckhorst began his career with RKC Waalwijk before moving to the big Dutch club, Feyenoord. "Discipline," says Gio. "Every practice, give it 100 percent. Give everything for so professional players. The key is discipline and desire."

"When I was six years old, I love playing football all day. I carry the ball everywhere," recalled the player bleeding from the mother's Maluku.
"I do watching television, I saw (Diego) Maradona played. I want to be like him. I kept practicing and practicing, trying to be like Maradona," added the player who had won the 2006 Champions League with Barcelona.
"I may not approach the quality of Maradona. But I'm proud to be like this now," said Van Bronckhorst.
