London - Roberto Di Matteo's really back to Chelsea. He has been officially confirmed as assistant manager of Chelsea after the arrival of Andre Villas-Boas.

After officially became manager of Chelsea, Villas-Boas believed to be immediately hired top assistant. Given the first assistant at FC Porto, Vitor Pereira, has risen to the level of successors in the club, Villas-Boas had to find another name.

Along with it, the name appears Di Matteo. Despite the track record has not trained very shiny-shiny, he knew enough internal aspects of Chelsea because he had defended the club in the period 1996-2002.

In the process, Di Matteo really lined up to assistant manager of Chelsea. He was trusted by Villas-Boas because votes have a good philosophy in football so it can help make 'The Blue' became more attractive.

"If you look at the engineering staff in front of me, and also the appointment of Roberto (Di Matteo), these are people who love the aspect of quality of the game and have a philosophy," Villas-Boas said on Sky Sports.

"Everyone likes attacking football, and the Premier League has had a number of goals in every game and it will be a party appealing to fans, and this is what we wanted to do," he continued.

Di addition to Matteo, Villas-Boas also recruit Jose Mario Rocha as a fitness trainer. Rocha himself had worked with him at Porto and Academica.

Another new face is Daniel Sousa who will become chairman of Chelsea's talent monitors, a position once filled Villas-Boas himself in the London club in the period 2004-2007. Sousa also had worked with the Villas-Boas, Porto and Academica.
