'Desire Nasri Leave Arsenal For Money'

London - Samir Nasri was widely rumored to want to leave Arsenal this summer. According to a former player for the Gunners, Frank McLintock, Nasri desire is purely because of money problems.

Until now there has been established between the Nasri deal with Arsenal about a new contract. The obstacles mentioned because the club has not been willing to grant the request that the French footballer who demanded pay rises significantly.


Manchester United became the club that was widely associated with Nasri. Following his statement that he did not close the opportunity to join a rival club who is now looking for a midfielder as a successor to Paul Scholes.

Lintock, ever strengthen the "Gunner" from 1964 to 1973 expressed his disappointment with the desire leave Nasri. He also believes that motivation is driven only for the money.

"Nasri (desire leave) a little disappointing," he said on the show Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, TalkSPORT.

"I think obviously he wanted to seek more money. I do not know how he gets, 60-70000 pounds per week, and now he is looking for 110,000 per week."

Not just Nasri, Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas also likely lose the increasingly close to Barcelona. Lintock asserted that the former would be a great loss if his team to lose both players.

"He (Nasri) had a good start last season and looks like a player who defects, and if he goes well with Fabregas) then it will be a big blow for Arsenal. They have tried throughout the season that he is willing to renew his contract," said Lintock .
