De Gea: If Manchester United are interested, it's Compliments

The news that Manchester United are interested in David De Gea has been long outstanding. The goalkeeper casually responded and take it as a compliment.

Premier League giants approach news came after they left Edwin Van der Sar, who retired at the end of the 2010/2011 season. Manchester United now have no choice goalkeeper and De Gea is one of a target - after Manuel Neuer chose to join Bayern Munich.

Some time ago, had been rumored that the deal between Manchester United and Atletico Madrid are interwoven. However, Atletico camp denied the rumors. Currently De Gea not want a headache thinking about it, he claimed to want to focus with Spain in the UEFA European Under-21.

Even if there are things that can be commented upon, he confessed that the news that interest is a compliment to his ability.

"I really focus on the Euro now because it really pwenting to our expectations. We were all just thinking about it," said 20-year-old goalkeeper was on ESPN Star.

"Manchester United are a big club. If they are interested in you, then that is a compliment," he continued.

De Gea own claim to grow up watching two former Manchester United goalkeeper, Peter Schmeichel and Van der Sar. He also had a favorable view of the two goalkeepers.

"When I was a kid, I really like Schmeichel, as well as Van der Sar. They are the best goalkeeper I have ever seen, he said.
