CR7: Madrid will drop Barcelona back to Earth

Madrid - Real Madrid suffered a defeat to Barcelona in the last three years. For next season Cristiano Ronaldo is confident Real Madrid will be increasingly tough, and could even drop the Barcelona back to earth.

"We will be much stronger in the new season and I am sure we have the strength to defeat them. We will drop the Barcelona back to earth," said Ronaldo as reported ESPNStar.

Barcelona dominated the Spanish league and European competition even within the last three years. Within the Josep Guardiola managed to present the trophy five local and four international championship titles for the Catalans.

What practical gained Barcelona succeeded in silencing Real Madrid, who in the same period only can one Copa del Rey trophy. Record of the meeting of two Spanish giants were so lame in three seasons back, Barca won six victories while Real Madrid grabbed one by the other two ending in a draw.

"To be able to stop Barcelona, we should be able to stop them. We can only win the league if they beat them," concluded the former world's best players.
