Pasadena - Javier Hernandez became the top scorer in the Gold Cup tournament in 2011. Even so, the player nicknamed Chicharito was felt that this success is teamwork.Hernandez became the Gold Cup's top scorer with seven goals record. This complements the success of Mexico who appeared as champions after a beat United States 4-2.
With seven goals this incision, Hernandez winning three more goals than his team mate, Aldo De Nigris, and forward El Salvador, Rodolfo Zelaya.
Chicharito record is quite impressive since the last major tournament is followed by Mexico, the 2010 World Cup, a player 22 years was still a player coatings.
Chicharito emerge in the Gold Cup to continue what he's like a show at club level. Undergoing inaugural season with Manchester United, Chicharito successful in getting 20 goals in all competitions.
Despite not scoring a goal against the U.S. in the final, Chicharito still regarded as the most prominent players from the Mexican camp. Chicharito himself refused the title because the other players are also playing nicely.
"Giovani (Dos Santos) and all the players on the team also played well. Sometimes, some people say I was an idol or a hero, but in this team there are no heroes or stars," tepis Chicharito modestly.
"Here there are only 20 players who want to play your best," he concluded, as quoted Chicharito Eurosport.
