Arsenal Reject Bid Rp 372 M for Fabregas

London - Barcelona seems increasingly serious attempt to pick up Cesc Fabregas. Reportedly, Barca had taken off his offer of Rp 372 billion, but the figure was rejected by Arsenal.

Quoted by the Guardian, which also reported by The Sun and the Telegraph on Thursday (06/24/2011) night, Arsenal rejected a proposal worth 27 million pounds sent Barcelona.

With that situation, Barcelona will be forced to raise its bid. However, Los Blaugrana all the time already stated that they would not bid more than 35 million pounds.

"(Pep) Guardiola knows the value of a player and Cesc value was below 40 million euros (35.4 million pounds)," said Barcelona president Sandro Rosell at the time.

"Barcelona will bid below that and if they (Arsenal) do not accept it, then Cesc will not come," said Rosell.

Barcelona's bid for Fabregas had last summer but failed. This summer, the team's Catalunya renew interest in the young man was born from their academy.
