Again, Asian footballer to play in the Premier League

Sunderland - South Korea to export back to the Premier League players. Ji Dong-Won, a young striker from the local club Chunnam Dragons will join Sunderland.

Quoted from AFP, The Black Cats get Ji with a value that is not mentioned. But South Korean news agency, Yonhap said that the figure of around 3.8 billion won (3.5 million U.S. dollars).

The 20-year-old footballer will be contracted for three years. The signing of the contract is expected to occur at the end of this month after undergoing medical tests completed Ji.

South Korea's Ji became the eighth player who competed in the Premier League, as well as the youngest. Currently only two players remaining South Korean Park Ji-Sung (Manchester United) and Chung-Young Lee (Bolton Wanderers) who played in England until last season.

Ji appearance seems so worth waiting for. Although still young, players born May 28, 1991 was a direct steal the show in his debut season with Chunnam in 2010.

Ji merged scored 13 goals in 29 matches at the K-League's top scorer and won the Korean FA Cup and runner-up the best rookie in the same year. A year later, he has contributed three goals from 15 matches.

While with the Korean national team, Ji has had 11 caps with six goals since the first was called for last year and led the Taeguk Warriors won bronze at the 2011 Asian Cup.
