Milan will not pay € 40 for Hamsik

AC Milan Adriano Galliani, the manager revealed the club are unlikely to land Marek Hamsik, Napoli meet if they want € 40million valuation.

Hamsik has long been linked with a move to San Siro, Milan was officially admitted they are looking for reinforcements in midfield after the departure of Andrea Pirlo to Juventus on a free transfer.

The Italian press reported recently that Hamsik is eager to join the Rossoneri, and the president of Napoli Aurelio De Laurentiis has put a price tag of € 40 million in Slovakia, the captain of the national team to deal with the suitors potential.

His plan seems to have worked, as Galliani admits Milan are unlikely to be able to make a transfer offer in the region.

"If De Laurentiis said € 40m would cover their costs, then there is no opportunity to see Hamsik in Milan," Galliani said, according to Sportmediaset.

With the release of Pirlo leaves a gaping hole in midfield Milan, it is likely that Milan will always dip into the transfer market this summer for a replacement.

Bayer Leverkusen Chilean midfielder Arturo Vidal has been identified as a possible arrival, but some sources suggest that Captain Riccardo Montolivo Fiorentina and Alberto Aquilani, out of favor with Liverpool would be seriously considered.
