Menezes Brazil lacked sharpness

Brazil coach Mano Menezes complained about his "lack of clarity" after their 0-0 clash with Venezuela in its first Copa America Group B.

Brazil, ranked 63 places above Venezuela in FIFA rankings, was expected to steam roll over their less illustrious opponents on Sunday, but was considered goalless draw.

Almost uncharaceristically, Brazil lacked a lot of falsehood and invention in attack and has no problems really the guardian of Venezuela, Renny Vega, who rarely invited to comment on any action.

Speaking after the game, Menezes has admitted its allegations were not made daily.

"In the first half we had chances," said Menezes on the official website of the Copa America. "But in the second, was different.

"We lacked sharpness."

When you start Ganso, Robinho, Pato and Neymar on offense, has thrown up Elano Menezes, Fred and Lucas Silva, in the second half to no avail.

"We have tried on both sides, so it could not be faster, and could not put a player in the area.

"Venezuela has been working hard."

Next opponents Brazil, Paraguay, is likely to represent an even greater challenge, and Menezes, has warned his team that the men, Gerardo Martino, has "more responsible" for Venezuela, and would be unlikely to handle payments they did Sunday.

"We will see a balanced match."

Brazil out of the campaign group, 13 in Ecuador in July, and want to rank the first two to ensure their progress to the quarter-finals.
