Manchester City revealing conversations with UEFA

Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook has revealed there have been discussions between the club and UEFA on how they will respond to new financial regulations of Fair Play.

Given the grandiose plans of the land around the stadium, estimated Etihad Airways have pledged £ 300 million over the next 10 years for a range of projects including the house in the city to rename the Etihad Stadium.

Still, it is about to wipe out losses of over £ 120 million in the City last year, May 2010, leaving them at risk of not complying with FFP.

However, Cook has confirmed an open dialogue with the power brokers of European football and Blues was "aggressive" business plans, the gap is closing fast.

"We have a very open dialogue with UEFA," said Cook.

"We had several meetings with UEFA about our plans and are very supportive of the ambitions of Manchester City.

"There are many football teams that are behind the regulation, which is located in the world of football.

"We are different than any other football club."

The special Airbus 330, where the colors of the city, flying between Manchester and Abu Dhabi as part of the transaction, which also includes the expansion of the shirt sponsorship and the new Etihad current designation of the area around the stadium of the city, now known as the Campus' Etihad '.

It's all part of an ambitious plan for the ultra-elite club gate-crash of Europe.

Owner Sheikh Mansour has invested over £ 1 billion so far, including the purchase of the club three years ago and was rewarded with a place in next season's Champions League and FA Cup, the first trophy of the city in 35 years.

He has already spent two signings this week in Gael Clichy and Stefan Savic, although the duo would be eclipsed by the arrival of Samir Nasri with a soft liner in Italy reports that the fee has been agreed with Arsenal, which the city is not answered.

Having made the mistake of too high hawking their views on the future direction of the city, and was left with egg on his face when Manchester United beat the Blues in the Carling Cup semi-final 2010, Cook is wary to say much at this early stage of the summer.

"I'm having trouble with it before," he laughs.

"We will continue to grow, on and off the field.

"Our goal for next year means we are competing in a contest News - Champions League - and the other three.

"We strive to be successful in all four."
