Lazio expect great things from the signing

Lazio president Claudio Lotito believes new recruits Miroslav Klose and Djibril Cisse will return to the club at the top of Italian football.

It was more than ten years since Lazio finally lifted the Scudetto, but Lotito is full of confidence ahead of next season following the capture of his two new strikers.

"They can help bring back the highest level Lazio in Italy and Europe. With Cisse and Klose in attack, Lazio go far," Lotito, quoted by Corriere dello Sport.

"We signed Klose and Cissé, hoping that it will be determinative as to the physical quality of character and experience.

"I appreciate the moral Klose is a very professional figure that will give the team a step further in quality.

"I have to thank Cisse as he had other offers, but certainly wanted to join Lazio.

"He wants to prove himself in Serie A after recovering from two serious injuries. He has a great strength of character."

Lazio finished fifth series and will play next season in the Champions League.
