Falcão backs Argentina to progress

Colombian striker Radamel Falcao believes that Argentina will be a good America's Cup, despite the South American giants Notching only two points in two games so far.

Porto striker, who played 87 minutes in Wednesday night 0-0 against Argentina, is confident that the hosts of the tournament will improve and give thanks to the knockout stages, if only because the talents they have in their ranks, and despite their initial mate displays.

"Argentina did not have the depth (in Colombia), but it will definitely improve," he told the official website of the America's Cup.

The attacker said, "Argentina certainly have great players and will move forward [in the tournament]."

The former River Plate ace left rue a number of possibilities golden cut that would see his side claim all three points and admitted that they left Copa America 14 times out of trouble.

"[British] generates a lot of chances. [So] it is true most of Argentina had possession, they lacked depth."

Pre-tournament favorites are now in danger of losing consciousness, as they currently are in second place two points in a game that plays in Bolivia and Costa Rica

Colombia is in pole position to qualify as leaders of Group A, leads the group with four points after a 1-0 victory over Costa Rica on July 2. They face Bolivia on Sunday in Santa Fe

Argentina against Costa Rica on Monday, and they need a win to ensure qualification for the next round.
