Eager to keep Roma Vucinic

Rome has no intention of selling striker Mirko Vucinic this summer as a club's sporting director Walter Sabatini.

The Montenegro international has been strongly linked with a move to Juventus in recent months.

But Sabatini said: "There are no negotiations in place with the Bianconeri club for Vucinic.

"We want to keep Mirko team, but we must first consider what his intentions are."

The 27-year-old is under contract with Roma until June 2013, is scheduled to meet with club officials this week to discuss his future.

Vucinic is interested would have to leave the Stadio Olimpico, where he has a strained relationship with the fans Giallorossi.

Vucinic 10 goals were placed in 28 league appearances to help the Roma to finish sixth Serie A.
