Aguero is not safe to leave Atletico

Argentine striker Sergio Aguero could have a future to Atletico Madrid, according to his father, despite reported interest from Manchester City and Juventus.

Aguero has declared his intention to leave Atletico in the final last season, prompting speculation he could go against city rivals Real Madrid.

Interest seems to have cooled from Madrid, but the city and Juve are always linked with the 23, which is currently out of Argentina in the Copa America.

However, the player is € 45million release clause, and his father claims that you can still stay at the Vicente Calderon.

"He will play for Atletico Madrid, he has two years remaining on his contract," he told Radio La Red Leo Aguero.

When pressed, however, argued that Aguero was the first in the dark about the future of his son.

"I do not know [how it will play]," he said.

Atletico captain Antonio Lopez keeps his fingers crossed that Aguero, who scored over 100 goals in five seasons at the club would still be a player Rojiblancos next season.

And he believes that supporters greeted Aguero of Atletico back if he changed his mind about leaving the club.

He said: "Every team wants a guy like Kun [Agüero] I've played with very few players of this quality ..

"At this point, is Atletico Madrid and we are waiting with open arms. I'm sure there will be no problems with the fans."
