Agent: Rossi will stay at Villarreal

Giuseppe Rossi agent confirmed that the striker will stay at Villarreal for the new season after being strongly linked with a move this summer.

Tottenham were interested in Italy, but Italian giants Juventus international had emerged as his most likely destination if he left Spain.

But after the sale of Santi Cazorla in Malaga, the pressure on Villarreal to take advantage of the attacker is down and now will stay with the club.

The former Manchester United was interested in an agreement with Juventus, but now join the club's decision not to sell.

"Giuseppe Rossi has been officially withdrawn from the market following the sale of Santi Cazorla in Malaga," Federico Pastorello said his agent Sky Italia.
