Agent: Rossi may be the next Del Piero

The agent of Villarreal striker Giuseppe Rossi believes that 24 years has what it takes to become the heir to Alessandro Del Piero Juventus.

The Italian international has been linked with a move to the Yellow Submarine this summer, with clubs like Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur to show interest in him.

However, his agent Federico Pastorello revealed the desire of Rossi to play in Turin, and went so far as comparing him to Juventus legend Del Piero.

"We're talking about a player who reminds me a little 'Del Piero for his technical skills and his position on the field," said Shepherd was Tuttosport.

"Clearly he is fascinated by the idea of playing with Del Piero, Rossi and could ultimately be his successor."

Despite all the rhetoric, Shepherd admitted Rossi, the story to go to Juventus is not anywhere in sight, but is still confident about it.

He added: "We can only wait and see what happens, I must say that there has been no official approach yet Juventus Maybe something concrete will happen in the next week ..."

Despite the interest in Rossi Juventus, the old lady did not make a move for the 24 years since their main objective is the Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero.
