Agent: Aguero's decision this week

The saga of the transfer from Atletico Madrid Sergio Aguero will be completed this week, the player's agent has revealed.

Aguero has been tipped to join Europe's biggest club football with Real Madrid, Juventus and Manchester City this summer.

Batting had previously stated his desire for a new challenge for the five stars for Atletico, but indicated a decision would be made until after the Copa America in 2011.

However, early exit from the competition in Uruguay in Argentina in the hands of the weekend has sped up the matter, and Aguero is ready to finalize the dress to leave La Liga.

"He wanted to end America's Cup to sit and talk. This week, everything will work out," agent Agüero, Hernan Reguera, said Ole.

"Agüero has many important things for Atletico: renew his contract when he was a year away from free agency, which has played over 200 games, spent two years without a vacation," said Reguera.

"He is grateful to the fans and the club board. We talked for two months.

"I talk to leaders of the club on a daily basis, and if it was difficult for them to accept at first, they got it, and there is no problem.

"He wants his career to grow, it has nothing to do with money."

Barclays Premier League side City favorites to land the striker as they look to find a replacement for Captain Carlos Tevez, who is desperate to leave the club.
