Two Games Shown punishment for the Prohibition of 'The Seeker Card'

Nyon - By diluting the chance of a player who deliberately target the card, the penalty as much as two-match ban for players who do that are now imposed in UEFA competitions.

Deliberate action to get a second yellow card was not rare when a player from a club take part in UEFA competitions, like a strategy.

Such as in the first leg knock-out round the player gets a card that kept him out in the second leg then if his team qualify for the next round he will appear with a clean record. This is often deliberate delivery.

"Usually such behavior is rewarded with a fine, but now there will ban as additional to those provided automatically from the accumulation of two yellow cards," said UEFA General Secretary Gianni Infantino in the AFP.

This season several players suspected of carrying out such deliberate action. Andres Iniesta of Barcelona is one of them.

Iniesta accused of deliberately getting a yellow card in the Champions League quarterfinal first leg cons Shakhtar Donetsk. That way he could not appear in the second leg because of the accumulation, but it was "clean" from the card as Barca Real Madrid meet in the semifinals.

In a similar case, UEFA also imposed a fine of 60 thousand euros to the club Villarreal, and each of 20 thousand euros for two players, Nilmar and Santiago Cazorla.
