Nasri Not Just Want to 'Seasonal Sensation'

London - The future of Samir Nasri at Arsenal is still unclear. But if he ultimately survived, Nasri promising a similar appearance or even more in the next season.

Nasri this season was selected as one of the best players of the 2010/2011 season candidate version of the professional footballers association (PFA). Although eventually losing to Scott Parker, but the contribution remains vital for Arsenal Nasri.


Had a long absence through injury hamsting, Nasri can still scored 15 goals from 46 appearances. It shows how the role of the French attacking midfielder.

But unfortunately Nasri is currently involved lengthy discussions with the club about an extension of his contract after next year. Perhaps this condition is not fun for Nasri and Arsenal.

Although his future is still hazy, Nasri apparently still keeps a high commitment to the club since 2008, reinforced it. Former Marseille player wants to perform better next season and not just be a seasonal sensation.

"As a player it's hard to stay at peak performance. I do not want to be a seasonal sensation alone. I want to keep playing at my best level and consistent at the level that I found at the beginning of the season inin," Nasri said as reported by ESPN.

"This is the difference between good players and great players - and I know expectations will be so high to me," said 23 year-old footballer.

When asked his contract problems, Nasri can not comment further. For him the important thing now is that he could quickly resolve the matter.

"Not much to say other than do not hear all the rumors and anything written or said," Nasri said.

"At the beginning of this msuim I spoke with our boss and said he would speak during the summer and we were doing," Nasri straightforward.
